We finally got to go mountain biking this past weekend! I've been wanting to go up to see the leaves too for a while now, but we've just been so busy!
We finally made it all happen this weekend when Jeff, Rick, and I went up American Fork canyon and rode from the Summit down to Tibble Fork, and then flew down the road to our other car. Most of the really red/orange trees (maples and oaks) were already past, but we still saw some gorgeous views with the aspens changing and the snow on the mountain tops. We had a blast!

Us, and Jeff in his nice hoodie because he didn't bring one but realized it'd be chilly once we got to the top... (*Shaking my head*)
When we left we were thinking it would either be too snowy to ride, or all melted by now. We forgot about the in between...
Goofball.
That in between business got much worse in the trees... some areas were mud puddles that came up to my pedals! Our back sides were covered by the end...
(We don't make pit stops...)
Mud rocks my socks! And leggings, and shorts, and shoes, and every inch and crevice of our bikes that I sprayed with the hose for an hour trying to clean out...
Totally worth it.
We came home and showered and had homemade hamburgers while we watched the BYU game. Rick came over and said he just got in the shower with his shoes on, ha ha. It was a great afternoon!

haha, looks like so fun! i wish we could have come with you. i love the poop butts...hilarious! it's so fun sometimes to get downright muddy!! but cleaning the bikes is always not so fun. i'm glad you got to finally go though!!
Awesome! Those are some great pics or you guys. Looks like sooo much muddy, dirty, fun! But a lot of hard work too. :) Love the backsides.

AHHHHH so jealous! We were thinking about getting a ride in too but didn't get around to it. Is that a good ride? How long is it? We'll have to go soon!
