Cody and Jessica invited us to spend a night up at Tyler Meservy's cabin way up Hobble Creek Canyon last Friday night. Tyler and Tony Frustaci with his son were also there. We had a lot of fun, it was so nice to get away from home and out of cell service. Just straight friends and nature. It was awesome.
When we first got there we played outside and then had dinner.
After putting the kids to bed we mostly just hung out and played a few games...
Jess and I were upstairs chatting when we realized the guys had been downstairs for quite a while... So we went down to see what they were up to. We walked down to find all four guys with ping pong paddles in hand and shirts off. My very first thought was, "Why are these guys playing strip ping pong?!" But then we discovered they were playing "sting pong." Oh. My. Goodness... HILARIOUS. I have no idea what the drive is to torture each other but it was funny to watch! They played for hours, till like 3 or 4 in the morning...
I tried to warm Ren up outside but he wouldn't stay in the blankets for more than a few seconds... So we ended up putting him in the car to sleep. Luckily he does really well in our car!
These kids had a blast playing together. I have no idea what they were doing, but they had a ball.

Ren loved trying to catch us on the swing. He'd bark and try and jump on us. Shad laughed the whole time and wanted to keep going and going.
