HIT AND RUN 5K!

Our friends Cody Reynolds, Jason Hermann, and their friend Dusty Hulet started this new Wipe Out style obstacle course 5k fun run.

They got the funding, designed the obstacles, had them manufactured mostly by a company in China, with Cody's uncle in Wyoming making a few of the mechanical parts, and then they had volunteers come and test out the obstacles with photographers and videographers there to record for advertising purposes.  This happened this past Saturday.

I was one of those photographers.  I am excited for these guys, I think the race is going to be a huge success!  Who wouldn't have a blast?

They also had "race start" film session.  It was fun to watch how pretend excited these guys could be:

While filming for the Duck and Dive, the mechanism that spins these big red balls quit working, so Jason and Jeff climbed up and manually pushed it in a circle so they could still film.  He said it was pretty heavy!

I was kinda bummed that we didn't really get to participate due to me being pregnant and having no energy and Jeff still recovering from his ACL and being worried about that, but we had fun helping and still being a part of the event.
