And guess what... THEY WERE AMAZING!
Seriously, so good! Perfectly cooked, soft and moist in the middle...
Here's the recipe for those of you who are now drooling all over the keyboard:
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla and stir well. Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Remove immediately from pan and cool on rack.
I'm not all that domestic, so this recipe may not be all that different from others, but these cookies were amazing for some reason... Jeff ate like 6, I probably wasn't far behind... ;)

Good to know Lindsey! Brandon is on a quest to make perfect chocolate chip cookies, so I'm going to tell him that this recipe is great! Everything I have made from that cookbook turns out so good. We love the pizza dough recipe too! Oh yeah, and Brandon makes me the waffles from this book every Saturday! SO GOOD!
sweet linds!! Ive actually been craving chocolate chip cookies as well. Someone in church the other day related the gospel to making cookies and Ive been regretting paying attention in the class ever since :) So I did some research on how to make cookies chewy and thick and I guess you're supposed to chill the dough before cooking. just fyi I love ya!
I totally have that cookbook!! I LOVE it!!! I use it quite regularly!! Lets plan something!!
