Nikki and Spencer have really gotten into rock climbing this year. They have been trying to get us to go all summer and we were finally able to go this past Monday- Labor Day.
Shad really enjoyed being outside and climbing around. He went straight to the rock and started climbing up when we first got there!
Some friends of Nikki and Spencer's came also. They had a little girl a bit younger than Shad so he had a little buddy to play with.
Is this not the cutest EVER! I love that little face! And how cool is it that they make kids harnesses?
Nikki helped him climb while I belayed. He was a little nervous, I think because he was one of the first to go and he hadn't watched the rest of us yet...

Shad decided to give it another shot and did a lot better this time! We let him climb over where it was easier first, and then he did a few steps up higher on the main wall.
Such a cute little dude.
