Our Stake planned a backpacking over-nighter for the 4th years for Girls Camp, but only 1 of our 4 girls were available to go that weekend, so Sheena (my assistant camp director) and I decided to plan our own.
We chose to do an "urban" over-nighter!
(June 10th-11th.)
We figured these girls may not know much about public transportation, so we back-packed to Salt Lake instead. So starting June 10th, we walked from our houses to the bus stop on Main Street...
After which we got on the Frontrunner in Provo.

In Murray we got off the Frontrunner and hopped on Trax.
We got off Trax and walked a couple blocks...
... to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory!
After reversing our trip to get back home, we built a fire and had smores in our backyard. It was fun to hear the girls let loose and chat about boys and attractive celebrities! ;)
Then we headed to Sheena's backyard where we had our tents set up for the night. (You know, "camping.")
The next morning we made waffles before the girls parents came to pick them up.
Love these girls and this calling. I can't wait for camp!
