Summer Campout turned Backyard Movie Night

The past few years Jeff's family has made the effort to do an annual camping trip up in Fairview.  With the fires and busy schedules this summer, we weren't able to make it happen.  So we decided to do a dinner, backyard movie, sleepover, and big breakfast instead.  September 28th-29th was the first weekend we were able to make work for everyone, though unfortunately Marnae didn't end up feeling well enough to make it.

Jeff grilled an awesome (as always) tri-tip steak for dinner.  We had pasta salad, green salad, lemonade and limeade with it, followed by popcorn during the movie and Jeff's birthday ice cream cake.

Rick and Ty got the screen and projector set up in time for us to watch the last bit of the BYU game on it through WatchESPN.

After dinner and the game we all got in comfy clothes and cuddled in blankets to watch
The Avengers under a full moon.

We all ended up sleeping somewhere inside since it was a bit nippy for a backyard slumber party, but it all worked out well.

The next morning we had an awesome breakfast of breakfast casserole with eggs, sausage, cream of mushroom, etc, Cream Cheese Danish-type squares, French Toast Casserole with coconut syrup, fresh garden raspberries, strawberries, and bananas, orange juice, and fresh apple juice from G&G Duncan's tree.  It was amazing.  I LOVE breakfast food and any excuse to indulge in it...

We spent a lot of the day in our pajamas just taking it easy.  We slowly trickled out to head home.  It was a lot of fun, I'm glad we were able to make it work!
