Brea and Tom had a "Finding out the Gender" party with some of their friends and family this past weekend. It was convenient that we were in Ogden for my Grandpa's funeral so we could stop by for a few minutes. Brea had her doctor write the gender on a card and then her neighbor baked a cake in the appropriate color. So after dinner she and Tom cut their cake and found out together with all who were present.
We got there just in time for the cake. We also helped by connecting with Dot and Pat on Jeff's phone via Skype so they could "be there" too.
And the inside of the cake turned out to be...
BLUE!
I'm glad Shad will have a little buddy to run around with someday. I'm so excited for them!
