I ran The Color Run in Sandy on September 15th with a few girls from my ward and my cousin Megan.
If you've ever been to the Color Fest in Spanish Fork, then you're very familiar with the concept. But for those who don't know, The Color Run is a 5k fun run with a "color zone" at every kilometer. Volunteers with packets and squirt tubes full of colored chalk line the color zones ready to throw the chalk all over you as you run through.
Then at the finish line they had a stage and DJ with music and a "color throw" every 15 minutes where participants got to throw a packet of color received in the race packets.
We had a fun team. Wendy Tingey and her cousin ran it ahead of us, Megan and I came in next, and Laycie Call, Trina Esklund, and Terri Shimmin walked it behind us.

After we had our fill of the party and got our pictures taken, we headed over to Ihop for breakfast. The staff there weren't at all surprised to see us, in fact there were multiple
other Color Run teams there. It was a lot of fun, I'm glad we were able to do it!
