Part of Jeff's new position at work as Manager of Medicaid Oxygen of Utah (what he's been doing since October) is hiring and keeping track of a few "man in van" employees out in remote areas of Utah. These areas include Vernal, Price, Richfield, and Monticello. Part of his responsibilities include going out to these locations once every 4-6 weeks and working with his employees and making sure things are going smoothly.
(Hanging out with Grandparents, Cousins, and Uncles)
While out of town we stayed at Inn on the Creek, which was supposedly remodeled, but turned out to basically just have new linens (at least it was clean) and a cold pool/hot tub (we were bummed.) We also ate at Moab Diner, Moab Brewery, and a small place in Blanding called Fatt Boyz Grillin. Some meals were better than others but it was fun to eat at local places rather than big chain restaurants. All in all it was an uneventful weekend for me, but really nice nonetheless to have a day or two of no diapers!
On our way home we stopped at Hole in the Rock to walk around the shops, since we'd both seen it numerous times but never stopped. They had this huge metal bull out front that I actually thought was pretty cool. Jeff was not pleased I made him do more than stand next to it...
And I'm sorry if you think this is inappropriate, but I thought it was hilarious and creative:
Big thank you to Jeff's parents for allowing us to enjoy Jeff's otherwise boring work trip!
