Engaged!

Nate is getting married!

My brother proposed to his girlfriend Brooke at the Blake Shelton concert in Boise on March 10.  He planned to do it during their song, "God Gave Me You."  His plan was to take her up to the top of Taco Bell Arena and slow dance with her.  Tanner was there to discretely take pictures.  Well as the concert went on Blake hadn't performed that song and Nate started wondering if he was going to.  The concert ended, and he still hadn't sang it.  Then he came out for the encore performance.  The encore song still wasn't "God Gave Me You" so Nate said he was starting to try and quickly come up with a plan B, when suddenly he heard the beginning chords of "God Gave Me You..." He said it was, and I quote, "EPIC!" when those chords came blaring through the speakers.  Ha ha.  Blake was doing a second encore song!  Tanner had a date also, so the 4 of them made their way to the top to slow dance.  He whispered a few things in her ear, stopped dancing, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him!

"The very last song Blake played was "God Gave Me You" which is our song and he took me to the top and danced with me to it, very first dance together!  And he squeezes me really tight and says, "I love you Brooke, I'd love to spend forever with you, will you marry me?"...I said yes! :) I was so shocked-still am! I had no idea what was going on! But lets just say it was the best night of my life! I will always remember this moment!"

They're super cute together, get each others jokes and are always laughing, and are such a good match in so many ways.  We're so excited and couldn't be happier for them!
