Nick Cutler, one of Jeff's good friends from high school, and his brother Mark, have horses up in Lehi. They invited us over this weekend to ride and play POLO! At first the majority of the horses were still gone camping with Mark... so we just rode Ali around the pasture and sat on Skip, and felt sorry for Bucky and his impaled butt...

We couldn't ride Skip cause his leg was injured... so I just sat on him.
Poor Bucky... he got impaled by a T-post... they have no idea what he was doing... bad news for Bucky...
Then when Mark got back with the horses we played Polo! Now, this definitely wasn't the sophisticated English way of playing polo, they've created their own red-neck version... We played in their pasture, with giant tires at each end for goals. Our ball was one of those tie-die Walmart bouncy pool balls that never pop, and their clubs were fiber glass shafts with golf club drivers hooked on one end, and a wooden dowel on the other to hold onto. It was hilarious, and so much fun! These aren't the greatest ACTION shots... but we really were running around and playing a combination of bumper cars meets polo... 2 of the horses had no fear of ramming each other. We're covered in bruises and sore muscles, but it was worth it!

that looks soooo fun! i have NEVER played polo. to be quite honest it seems quite hard and i would probably fall off the horse! you must be a pro :)
