Jeff's co-worker has a bunch of land near Levan on which elk have decided grazing is a good idea, so depredation tags were allowed and Jeff was able to get his hands on one.
So while he and Jason Hermann and a few friends went "hunting" I went down to hang out with MaShay on Saturday.
(Hermann's currently live down there house-sitting for an aunt. Jessica and Cody were going to be out of town for a few days and were having MaShay watch Adalee and Owen and they needed help getting them down there so it all worked out well for me to head down for a visit.)
We hung out and played all day until it got dark and Jeff and Jason gave up their hunt, and then we headed home.
Jeff went back later to try and get an elk but never had any luck, unfortunately.
