Ren

We were told that Ren's birthday was in October so even though we don't know which day we decided to have a little mini celebration anyway.  He LOVES bread, so we wrapped a few treats in bread and stuck a candle in it.  Shad helped him blow it out.  :)

Over the past few weeks Ren has started to have spots on his coat, and last weekend he got really sick.  

I took him in to the Vet on Friday but she just said he had inflammation in his intestines and gave him a few prescriptions.  I was REALLY frustrated and didn't feel like that was a correct diagnosis.  

 By Sunday he was so sick- wasn't eating, couldn't defecate, lethargic, etc so we decided to take him to the animal instacare in Orem.  They did a few superficial tests and then took an x-ray which showed a tumor in his abdomen.  They felt fairly certain it was cancer.  They gave him pain killers and a steroid to help suppress, and gave him about 6 months.
