Fun package my mom sent for Shad and Tyce. I looked forward to this as a kid- my Grandma Wright always used to send us fun holiday packages- for Easter, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas... so fun as a kid!
Shad was invited down to a mini Easter Egg hung down at the Tingey's house.
Making Easter treats for VTees and us of course :)
Easter morning! Which happened to fall on the same weekend as General Conference, so perfect!
(April 5th)
Usually on years we have 9 or 11am church on Easter Sunday we make the kids wait till after church to head to the front room. It is nice for us to first focus on the Savior and His Atonement Easter morning rather than the temperal wordly aspect of Easter.
Nevertheless, spoiling our kids and seeing their happiness and excitement is still so fun as parents.
I hope that pure innocent excitement never ends! Here they are waiting to go down to the front room:
(Poor Ren, he is really not looking good these days, we're not sure how much longer he will be around... :( )
These little guys love to hide and find Easter eggs, even empty ones. I love this picture on the right- it perfectly shows how Shad hides eggs! ;)
Breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls! This needs to be a new conference tradition! Or Easter... or both. Yum!
After the second session of conference we went over to Cody and Jessica's for dinner.
The kids had fun taking turns riding Snowball (their miniature pony) and Cody's motorcycle...
And more egg hunting...
We finished off the day with the story of Christ's resurrection for our daily scripture stories with the kids. :)
