Shad and I got to go on an awesome Mom-Son date on Friday to the North Pole aboard the Polar Express!
(Okay, they called it the "North Pole Express" but ya...)
Shad couldn't have been more excited. He couldn't wait!
Mrs. Claus came aboard and met all the kids as they handed out hot chocolate.
The conductor even punched his ticket!
When we got to the "North Pole" Santa climbed aboard. He came through the cars, met all the kids, and gave them all a special Christmas bell from his sleigh!
They played music from the Polar Express movie as well as other Christmas songs all through the ride. It was pretty dang magical! I sure hope Shad is old enough to always have memories of it!
