One of my closest friends and roommate Megan Selin got married last week on Thursday, August 16th. She married a guy named Scott Allen, who I haven't really had a chance to get to know yet, but she seems very happy and smitten and I couldn't be happier for her!
Wednesday night Jeff and I went up to The Lion House in Salt Lake for their wedding dinner. Scott seems to have a fun and outgoing personality, which was especially evident when he and his dad performed "My Little Buttercup" from The Three Amigos. It was a fun dinner. I'm glad we were able to make it!
Thursday morning Brea met me in Sugarhouse and we went out to breakfast at the Pancake House for my birthday, and then she came to Temple Square with me to watch Shad while I was in the temple for Megan's wedding. I owe her big time! It was a huge help. The ceremony was wonderful, and I will always cherish the tight squeeze Megan and I shared as I went through the line to congratulate them afterwards.
That evening Jeff and I went back up to Salt Lake for their reception. It was at Devereaux Mansion. It was absolutely beautiful and very Megan.
