Jeff's 10,000th Day of Life! Party!

Jeff turned 10,000 days old on February 11!
We decided this was quite an accomplishment and deserved a party to celebrate.

It all came about while at Jeff's friend Howard Nell's wedding reception at the beginning of November.  We were sitting at a table with Cody and Jessica, Tony and Kristianne, and Rick and Marnae.  Tony brought up the idea of being 10,000 days old, which was followed by a hilarious conversation of how many minutes and seconds old we were.

It was then discovered that Jeff hadn't passed his 10,000th day and was actually coming up soon.  We knew we had to have a party, even if more just to get together with good friends we don't see that often.

Even though it wasn't a real birthday, I still had fun decorating our blank kitchen walls with balloons:

We enjoyed Avacado Corn Black Bean Salsa, personal pizzas on Rhodes roll dough, and Jeff's favorite birthday cake.  Shad enjoyed being entertained and playing with Hank and Max:

Tony decided in honor of Jeff's 10,000th day he deserved 10,000 of something.  He handed Jeff a sack, out of which he pulled 2 jars of mayo, a pack of licorice, and a box of Nerds.
"The mayo has 6,000 calories so I got you two, here is 10,000 millimeters of licorice, and not 10,000 Nerds.  We thought maybe there was, but then discovered there is nowhere near 10,000 Nerds in there, so they're just for fun."
Ha ha thanks for the laughs Tony.  It was awesome.

The whole group!  (Minus Braden who was already packed in his car seat...)

Thanks for coming and partying with us!
