One Month!

I can't believe our little man is ONE MONTH OLD!
(Well, last weekend...)

At one month Shad is:

Starting to lose that newborn look

Gradually getting better at feeding, though it's still a big challenge

Getting stronger and stronger

He's been able to hold his head up for a few seconds pretty much since he was born, and now he can hold it up longer and longer, and if we're not careful, he'll kick himself off our laps or the couch; his legs are very strong also!

His bottom lip sadly doesn't cave in as much as it did when he was first born, but it's still adorable when it does

He's starting to smile!

For the past week we've been wondering if he's trying to smile or not, and in the past day or two we've decided that yep, he's starting to smile! It's so fun!

And he slept his first 8 hours stretch the other night!

We woke up at 7:30am and I felt great! It may have been because he was awake and colicky most of the evening, but let's hope the sleeping part becomes a habit! ;)
