Jeff's Surgery

Jeff had his knee surgery this past Monday to repair the damage he did to his knee a few weeks ago. His biggest worry with the injury has been that he would be limited in his future abilities, and Dr. Jackson wasn't able to tell from the MRI the extent of his injuries without going in and looking during the surgery.
Luckily, my parents are still in town and my dad was able to take Jeff to the hospital and stay with him till he went in for his surgery, and then Jeff's dad was able to go and be there when he came out of surgery and bring him home. (I was able to go up and be there for him as well when he came out of surgery, but headed back home to be with Shad before Jeff was ready to leave the hospital.)

Post-surgery, we were thrilled to hear Dr. Jackson say that the surgery went very well and that he would be able to do EVERYTHING eventually and be 100% in 6 months! His injuries weren't severe enough to limit his future abilities. Wahoo!

So now he's just working through physical therapy and trying to conquer our house full of stairs.

Having a 2 week old baby and Jeff unable to do anything has definitely been a challenge, but luckily we've still had the help of my parents and Jeff's mom the past few days. We're glad the surgery is over and that things can only go forward from here!

We have been out of town, so I haven't been on the computer.

Little Shad is darling. I am glad he is here safe and you guys are doing well. He is a cutie. I think something about him looks like Grandpa Kay and Uncle Jay.

Hope Jeff is doing well.
Love you guys.
