"This is our mighty lawn mower to take care of our mighty lawn..."
Sad isn't it? Our landlord just bought this mower for us, and wants us to take care of the lawn... it won't even mow those tall weeds in the back! He should've bought it before everything started growing, then maybe it'd be manageable... And all these dandelion stalks in the front were left over from the first time Jeff tried mowing. They were too thick for it to cut...
(When my family first moved to our own house in Denver my dad videotaped our new house and yard, walking around and introducing everything. At the time we had an all rock backyard except for one little triangular sliver of lawn, and an ancient rusted motor-less mower like this one that the previous owners had left behind. He said those exact words, introducing our mighty mower to take care of our mighty lawn... Dad, it looks like we're following in your footsteps...) ;)

wow, that is pretty ancient. where do you even get one? Jeff is a trooper for trying!
It works like a champ if you aren't trying to cut down trees.
Hey guys! Happy Anniversary! Lindsey - about the mighty mower for the mighty lawn - thanks for the stroll down memory lane. I can still picture that old push mower standing up against the wood slat fence around the back patio. That video tour of the new home is a classic! That old mower worked really well, too. Good luck with your pasture. (I'd borrow a "real" mower, raise it as high as it will go, or rent a field mower and hack that pasture down to size! Then the push mower won't be so bad.) Love you guys!
Dad
