The Christofferson Reunion is always the first weekend in August. This year was a little extra special as a monument was finished just before the reunion, recognizing the Peter Julius Christofferson Family that first settled in Lehi in 1869, and then again in 1889 and 1900. (You can read the family's history on this plaque below.)
Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is Kay's 1st cousin. They are both great-grandson's of Peter Julius Christofferson. He came and dedicated the monument.
It was a VERY HOT day, and Tyce was not having any of it so we went and sat under a tree nearby. It was a little cooler than on the pavement.
Later that evening everyone headed down the the Christofferson Creek ("crick") for dinner, games, and stories.
